Team Hensley from Ball State University Wins Spring 2022 Digital Marketing Competition
April 26, 2022 – Students from across the world set out this spring to develop a digital marketing campaign for one of 100 charities in the United States. Team Hensley from Ball State University selected Planned Parenthood and set out to create a campaign that clearly stood out to the judges. Team Hensley consisted of Bridget Junker, Megan Neal, Sami Hensley, Eli Lucas, and Professor Michelle O’Malley.
While not an easy task to choose a final winner from 161 entries this spring, the judges Amanda McGinnis and Michelle Ponder of Amplified Digital, Michael Wasserott of Starcom, and Darya Maroz of Walmart Connect agreed unanimously on the winner. In addition to the trophy and monetary award to the winning teams, presenting sponsor Amplified Digital will be making a donation to Planned Parenthood in the name of Team Hensley.
“I couldn’t be prouder of this team. With all the hard work we put into this semester it’s rewarding to see the end be a first-place finish. It was overwhelming to see the knowledge I’ve learned over the past four years be used to create a complete, cohesive, and overall winning campaign.”
Megan Neal, Team Hensley
“We set out to create a campaign that would be disruptive, engaging and memorable. I am honored to say that we did just that..”
Bridget Junker, Team Hensley
