How The Competition Works

Register for the Competition

Get Registered

Gather a team of 2-4 undergraduate students and submit your intent to participate. Once received, we'll provide you with this year's Digital Marketing Competition's case study which is released August 15th, 2020.

Submit Your Round 1 Video

Round 1: Video Pitch

Once your team has finished your digital marketing strategy for the client, you'll produce an 8-minute video summary of the campaign to be judged by industry professionals. All entries are due by November 1st, 2020.

Final Presentation to the Client

Finals: Live Presentation

Five teams from across the nation will be selected to present live to the client in December. Prizes for first through third place include the coveted blue DMC trophy and monetary prizes of $1,000, $500, and $250.

Primary and secondary research findings.


Owned Strategy

Strategy for owned assets (website, social, etc.).


Paid Strategy

Paid placement strategy (paid search, social advertising, etc.)


Media & Evaluation

Scheduling, budgeting, and evaluation methods.

Finally there is a national digital competition for colleges. With so much demand in the job market, it gives students concrete expriences beyond textbooks and makes their resumes stand out from the crowd.
